Wood Owl, located in Miki, Japan, has specialized in the production of drill bits for the woodworking industry since 1923. While the factory is highly mechanized, many of the operations are still performed by hand by skilled workers. This is a 6 pieces set with 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 7/8”, 1” and 1 1/4” fast boring bits. These bits are designed to be used in cordless drills and will extend battery life by as much as 35%. They can also be used in a drill press with excellent results. These bits are precision ground and sharpened for even and easy cutting of accurately sized holes. These bits have unique chamfered cutting edges to start on target, drill fast and clean holes with minimal blowout. They are made from high carbon steel that are fully induction hardened for long life. Bits are 6 1/2" long and have 1/4" quick release hex shanks.
