Made from durable DZR brass and reinforced with a stainless-steel collar, this adapter requires less insertion force than first-generation SharkBite fittings. Installation is tool-free—no solder, clamps, or glue needed—and works even on wet lines. Once installed, the fitting can be rotated for alignment and is certified for underground and behind-the-wall use (wrapping required when buried). Rated to 200 degrees F and 400 PSI, this adapter is manufactured and inspected for functionality in the USA.
