Applications Immersion Pumps (IMV-Style) No bearings, seals, or packing are immersed in liquid, making them ideal for pumping liquids containing fine contaminants. Suction Pumps (IMS-Style) They should not be used to circulate fluids containing fine contaminants. Not recommended for Applications requiring the circulation of liquids containing large amounts of foreign matter. With a maximum 2 ft. suction lift, they may be mounted above liquid level as well as other locations remote from the tank.
