Heathkit model TC-2 Tube Checker Gold Certified
A Heathkit model TC-2 Tube Checker, designed for checking vacuum tubes utilized for common vintage radio and TV electronics. It can check 4, 5, 6, and 7 pin, large, regular, miniature, octal, loctal, Hytron, 9 pin miniature series tubes and pilot lamps.
This is a Gold Certified Preowned unit acquired directly from the Heath Company in 2021 and is still working fine. The original roll chart, containing the various testing data, is intact and useable, but has been repaired in one place with scotch tape earlier in its life. More up to date information is contained in the included hardcopy manuals and supplement sheets.
The case is solid, but as can be seen in the photos, the exterior has experienced some wear and tear over the years. The interior is very good and there are no issues with operation.
Official reproductions of the Assembly & Operation manual, Tube Test Data manual, and Supplement Test Data Sheets are included.
