The Chief CMS380 is a truss clamp that lets you fasten any 1.5 inch NPT threaded extension column to a 2 inch tube truss. It is designed for technicians who need a dependable way to hang projectors or flat panels in temporary venues such as rental stages, trade-show booths, houses of worship, or corporate events.
A trigger style latch keeps the clamp open until you are ready to lock it, so one person can position the column, squeeze the handle, and secure the mount without an extra pair of hands. Once tightened, the clamp supports up to 250 lb (113.4 kg), giving you a generous safety margin for heavier displays.
The integrated cable port guides power and signal lines through a smooth opening, which helps prevent pinched cables and keeps the finished installation tidy.
